Why We Built This Site
Washington provides several public access routes, but each route answers a different question. Pierce Corrections maintains jail records, court clerks keep charges and dispositions, and Washington State Patrol operates the statewide criminal history repository. The Department of Corrections and Washington Sex Offender Public Registry add separate custody, supervision, and notification records. We organize the published search steps, contacts, fees, and request options for those offices.

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Washington court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

An official copy must come from the issuing court, sheriff, or Washington State Patrol. This resource can identify the office, but it cannot issue the record.
